Glory

“Giving Thanks”

November 16, 2022

By Kimmy Foulds

1 Thessalonians 5:18 explains, “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.”

When life is easy, thankfulness seems to be at ease.

In situations of suffering, loss, trouble; look up and pray to give glory to the Lord. Predicaments are stressful but inner faith prevails with belief in God.

Being thankful for everything, in every aspect of daily activities yields blessings good or bad or in between. Results are graced.

Consider 2 Corinthians 11:23-27 as apostle Paul wrote in the bible when his life was filled with hardship. He was repeatedly rejected, stoned, maligned, robbed, whipped, beaten, shipwrecked and imprisoned.

Paul continually gave thanks with praise to Christ with his unwavering passion to know God as he fully rejoiced in gratitude. He was assured God was his eternal protector, in each occurrence for good.

Through disappointments, confusion or turmoil, God provides positive outcomes in blessings.

Either small or large, the beauty in abundance is magnificent when recognized all is given from God.

Christ Jesus is pleased when glory is given with heartfelt thankfulness in His name.

Taking time to read scriptures in the bible, spending time in thankful prayer are closer walks with God for spiritual growth, living and learning.

Reflect, from sunrise to sunset.
