“Living With Thanksgiving”

July 14, 2023

By Kimmy Foulds

Plan to beach the sunny day with a barefoot attitude to include gratitude for another blessed year to be around and Alive with laughter and smiling cheer.

While hanging out on the hammock as the seagulls shout, the gentle wind will be really sticky to cool off in the Gulf so the hidden retro cooler tucked in the sand will be at hand for a refreshing Coors Light in the sunlight to toast at the coast for an impromptu future full of adventures.

Enjoying a soft pink rose brought to the shoreline as a gigantic romantic will be intently placed by the vintage wicker basket (later to be used as a wastebasket) with a blue checkered tea towel inside for a lovely aesthetic detail that is finely wrapped with tasty roasted Brie, fresh strawberries to deliciously see and a baguette with a bit of jam for glee to munch as a delightful brunch.

Breathing in the moment with grateful thanksgiving will be acknowledged as a daily gift even from the rift of Hurricane Ian for many reasons not to have personally foreseen in the Florida season but survived the devastated disaster that was during the Eye of shatter and after the storm as Ian twirled a slow stalled goodbye with piles of debris still stinking in the scatter.

Though alone, today is miraculous in every way for the author shares a historical celebration known as la fête nationale in France as the famous Bastille Day as she recalls living a lifetime chance of turning 21 in Paris to cherish some time ago for memories to preciously flow with endearing secrets to always remember to sweetly know.

Reflect, from sunrise to sunset.
